Nostalgic Memories

School Hymn
High on a hill top;
‘Mid sand and sea;
Abraham Lincoln, we will honor thee forever.
Thy sons and daughters
However on life’s trail
Always will remember thee,
Hail, hail, hail.

In the 1950s did you know..
Students were no longer required to dress in uniform. The film camera came into vogue, football was all the rage, and Lincoln's Little Theater, band room, and gymnasiums were addded.

Girls did not play in any sports.

The Bell Game was the football game between Lincoln Mustangs and Washington Eagles.

Lincoln had half the sports teams compared to today.

The Lincoln mascot is the mustang because there was a horse farm in the area.
